Edge Stiffeners

Pallets are not usually necessary or practical when it comes to PCB Fabrication, but certain factors may cause the PCA to sag, which is not ideal. And in these instances, a pallet may offer a helpful solution. The factors that potentially lead to sagging include the size of the PCB and the weight of the components. To solve this problem, BlueRing Machining has designed edge stiffeners which snap onto the edge of circuit boards in order to maintain board rigidity during processing. 

All stiffeners are custom made in order to accommodate for different board thicknesses and to ensure that any components close to the edge of the board are safe. A rigid board prevents sag during processing.
